Haha. Very very well appreciated~ Glad it met your liking. hopefully there will be more if any free time shows up.

Sorrow and eternity.

I'm sorry that it hurts. I'm sorry that it makes you cry. I'm sorry it causes you pain. I'm sorry it makes you bleed. I'm sorry it does nothing but crawl into your deepest fears. I'm sorry that all it is does nothing more than make you suffer. And I'm sorry that all I can do is cry.

Thanks for inspiring me to write a little bit again. A small solace of peace in a dark world such as ours. On a less dramatic note, you only get 9 cause it isn't longer. XD On that note, I'm looking forward to hearing more for this album.

Kudos,
Makio

Chozz responds:

Glad to be an inspiration!!! Thanks buddy. Keep on writing.

Exquisite.

There is nothing more to say.

Phaserino responds:

Thanks mate, still needs tuning tho :) Thanks for the comment.

Definitely a step up!

The only thing I have an issue with (because of my oversensitive ears) Is that it's extremely treb-based. It's almost as if it's missing bass period.

And I still think that last part should be another song entirely.

mr-jazzman responds:

Hey man, thanks for the review! Yeah, I haven't even messed with this song much since formulating it lol. I've developed some new mastering techniques, so hopefully in my next metal-based project (metal-based dubstep, if you can imagine such a thing! =P) I'll iron out some of these things. That bass was a BITCH to deal with, I'm gonna say that off the bat. It would always sound too muddy, or too soft. It turns out to be both in this mix, in my opinion. XP Yeah, the fade-out was just a quick conclusion for the NGADM contest; in my future projects, don't expect something so abrupt lol!

This is a demo?

If this is a demo, then I can't even imagine how good the real one would be. Kudos, this song is awesome.

Xayro responds:

Demo in the sense that it isn't professionally mastered/mixed and lacking vocals, and things are still subjected to change. When I say demo, I usually don't mean "THIS IS TERRIBLE". It's usually just a disclaimer that things can and probably will change, whether its a little or a lot.

Vocals are planned for this track.

I'm glad you enjoyed it!

Woh. It's like a mix between ambient, DnB, trance, and acid. That was...different. Totally unexpected. I'm still trying to wrap my head around whether I like it or not, but this was damn good!

mr-jazzman responds:

Haha thanks! This was actually the experimental predecessor to Reflections. In all of my dubstep WIPs up until Reflections, I was working on getting a perfect dubstep bass. As you can tell, I didn't quite hit the money, but it's still pretty damn close lol. Thanks for the review man, glad you appreciated all the genre discombobulation lol! ;)

Damn!

Personally, I'm loving this version! Old or not, it's giving me the feel of good classic metal/rock. Damn good. If you ever make more, be sure you'll have at least one fan who'll love it.

Wow. Just got to the acoustic end...sounds to me like another song entirely. It's good standing alone. Keep it and make another song using it maybe? Anywho, still great!

mr-jazzman responds:

Thanks man, glad you like this version as well! It does have a classic rock feel to it, doesn't it? The thing I'm gonna try to do in future songs is bring out them drums. I think I've finally figured out a few new mastering & EQing techniques, but we'll see. I'm glad you at least enjoyed this one man! =)

Drew me in...

I nearly went into a trance...each piece of the music brought different images to mind. If anything, it makes me think of a safe haven...I've forgotten about past hauntings, and now I live in peace by a small river, three willows grow by it. My cottage, built upstream just enough to see the willows, looks far downstream. I sit in a hammock, waiting...just waiting for a visitor to drop by and spend some time, talking or enjoying the view.

Kudos to you, sir. This song lifted my spirits and granted me a goal for my life. Thank you much.

floccari responds:

You seem to have found the Oasis! That's what I was kind of going for in the title. That place is different for everyone, but it's nice to hear that the music can bring that to others as well. Thanks for the review!

Absolutely agree.

Definitely a 10. And well suited for an end of time experience. Kudos to you, artist.

floccari responds:

Thanks!

Uh...

Something about rise and stone...I'm not fluent in german, but I'm trying to learn. What it translate to?

Cool tunes btw.
